The Galilee Center has received a $5,000 matching grant from the H.N. & Frances C. Berger Foundation.
The center provides assistance to disadvantaged and impoverished families by providing food, clothing and other basic needs. Since its opening last summer, the center has provided more than 3,500 food baskets to about 950 families.
