Galilee Center has Received a Building Donation

February 14, 2014

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

September 7, 2012

It is with excitement and enthusiasm that we announce a donation of a warehouse building to Galilee Center. Dave Soleim founder of Extended Hands Ministry is the donor of the warehouse located in Mecca. The vacant building has been vandalized and is in need of many repairs. Our goal is to renovate this facility so we can move in and use this facility to provide services in Mecca.

Galilee Center is on its second year of operations. It began providing food and clothing under the shade of a tree to the impoverished and very low-income families of the Eastern Coachella Valley. A year later, it moved to a paved parking lot, established an office in Coachella and expanded its services to provide utility assistance, baby formula and diapers, crock-pots for seniors, backpacks for children, and Thanksgiving & Christmas food baskets.

We at Galilee Center are very excited to receive this facility. This opportunity will allow us to expand our services even more to our brothers and sisters in need.

Please consider helping Galilee Center with any type of financial donation for the renovation project. We are asking the community to please help us meet our goal so we can continue helping the less fortunate brothers and sisters of the Eastern Coachella Valley.
