Our rental assistance program has always been an important part of our mission. On average, we normally help 4-5 families each month. In April we were able to assist 20 families and in May we increased our assistance to serve 22 families who were unable to meet their rent demand without our assistance.
Humbling Stories
There are many humbling stories behind the rental assistance program. Many hardworking individuals have been impacted by COVID-19 in ways they never could have anticipated. Families who have never had to ask for assistance are turning to us for help and we are blessed to be able to provide.
Processing & Selection
The processing of each request is laborious as we complete a detailed check to make sure that applicants qualify for the program. Pay stubs, rental agreements, utility bills, and more, are reviewed as we evaluate each candidate.
June Rental Applications
Applications for June rental assistance opens May 25th. If you know anyone in the Eastern Coachella Valley who could need our help, please have them call our office for an appointment at 760-396-9100.
