Volunteers needed! Galilee Center is happy to announce their annual tradition of giving continues. “Our Thanksgiving Holiday Food Distribution has become a cherished tradition at Galilee Center,” said Claudia Castorena, co-founder of Galilee Center. “Thanks to the support of our charitable donors and community volunteers; we have been able to once again help with the financial challenges families, seniors, and at-risk individuals face every day. They have made it possible to bring happiness to hundreds of our neighbors during this season of gratitude, reflection and togetherness.”
Galilee Center is extending an invitation to volunteer and help fill the food baskets and participate in other special holiday needs. Please call 760-396-9100 if you wish to donate your time and be a part of this worthwhile tradition of giving.

Assemble 700 boxes filled with all the hearty food to provide a festive holiday meal.
Wednesday, November 27, – 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Load boxes of food, turkeys and veggies into vehicle trunks. Fast-paced distribution; volunteers must be able to lift 25 lbs.

Throughout the years, Galilee Center has provided food, clothing, shelter, and basic necessities to hundreds of families and individuals in need of help and support.
