Services
Children Services
Back-to-school backpacks and school supplies are given to school-aged children in August. New Toys and bicycles are gifted to children 0-14 years on Christmas Day. New tennis shoes, socks and blankets are gifted to children 0-14 years on Epiphany Day in January.
Infant Services
Families with babies are given formula, baby food, diapers and baby wipes.
Senior Services
Adults 55 and over are given supplemental drinks (Ensure or Glucerna), Depends, and crock pots. Meals are provided for in-bound seniors.
Farm Worker Center and Our Lady of Guadalupe Shelter
The center offers access to restrooms, showers, laundry, hot meals, temporary overnight shelter, a community room and cooling center for farmworkers.
Food Distribution to Families in Need
Food baskets are distributed EVERY Thursday! Baskets include canned goods, dry goods, grains, fresh vegetables and fruit.
Registration begins at 3:00pm
Basket distribution begins at 4:00pm
Holiday Food Baskets
Every Thanksgiving and Christmas, hearty food baskets that include a fresh turkey or chicken are gifted to families, so they can prepare and enjoy delicious holiday meals with loved ones.
Thrift Store Clothing Voucher Program
People in need, with no income, are provided with vouchers to purchase clothes, shoes and other needed items at our two thrift store locations.
Rental Assistance Program
Families can apply for rental assistance one time each year. The program helps families to maintain their housing and avoid homelessness.
Utility Bill Assistance Program
Families can apply for help to pay their electric/gas bill once a year.
Emergency Transfer Services
Galilee Center serves asylum seekers who have left their home countries to escape violence and poverty. We provide short-term care and shelter along with resources to help them reunite with family members in the United States.
